THE SITUATION ABOUT THE STORAGE OF SEIZED EXPENSIVE CARS IN TEMPORARY STORAGE WAREHOUSES EXPLAINED IN THE STATE REVENUE COMMITTEE

In temporary storage warehouses 117 vehicles of 1965-2013 years of release are placed, cost from 500 to 9 000 USA dollars.

Today in temporary storage warehouses there are the vehicles placed during the period from 2006 to 2016 as material evidences on criminal and administrative cases. Among these vehicles are also cars imported into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the Kyrgyz Republic by proxy of citizens of Kyrgyzstan. These funds were detained for violations of customs legislation and non-payment of customs duties and taxes.
As of August 13, 2019, 117 vehicles, 1965-2013 years of production, non-compliant with technical regulations on safety and prohibited for operation in the territory of the Eurasian economic Union, cost from $500 to $9 000, are placed in temporary storage warehouses.
Thus, there are no expensive vehicles in temporary storage warehouses.
Vehicles that do not comply with the technical regulations, but are suitable for further use, were transferred to the authorized organization - JSC "Company for rehabilitation and asset management" for sale on spare parts.
Vehicles that are unsuitable for sale and further use will be disposed of after coordination with the authorized state bodies and the search for funds.
