The Alley of Financiers dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 100th anniversary of the Ministry of Finance has opened in the capital. According to the press services of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 100 seedlings were planted at the Ministry of Finance building, which will now replenish the green fund of the capital.

The official opening ceremony of the Alley of financiers dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 100th anniversary of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Nur-Sultan.             

During the event, the Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Yerulan Zhamaubayev noted that the opening of the Alley was the beginning of a series of events dedicated to the anniversary of the Ministry of Finance.

Thus, in the near future, a number of publications will be presented about the persons who headed the ministry in different years. A series of documentaries about the formation and development of the finance and budget system over the past 100 years will be released.

According to the established tradition, on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the best employees will be awarded the medal "Karzhi salasynyn uzdigi", as well as a number of state, departmental awards and insignia.

The event was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister A. Smailov, a number of heads of state bodies, veterans of the financial service.  

Historically, the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan coincides with the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Ministry of Finance as a unified system. 

One of the fundamental documents for organization of activities of national financial bodies was the adoption of the resolution of the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR "On the procedure for drawing up, reviewing, approving and executing financial estimates of income and expenses of the Kazakh SSR in 1921.

It was the document that set out the principles to be followed by not yet firmly established national financial body. In the same year, the regulation on the People's Commissariat of Finance of the KSSR was approved, where the structure, activities, personnel and other issues of the People's Commissariat of Finance were specified.

In general, the permanent staff of the central administration of the People's Commissariat of Finance was also established in 1921.  It was from this time that the the People's Commissariat of Finance was assigned the top management of the activities of the departments. 

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan recalled that during the years of Independence, the Ministry was headed by 14 ministers.
