International webinar on

«Transfer Pricing 2.0»

In the period from October 22 to 23, 2020, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the OECD held an international webinar on «Transfer pricing 2.0» with the participation of representatives of the OSCE, tax administrations – the United States, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, as well as regional representatives of state revenue bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The work of the international webinar began with a welcome speech by the Deputy Head of the Specialized Department of the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Kanat Dospanov.

The webinar was moderated by Thomas Balko, an OECD expert. The webinar was conducted in Russian and English with the participation of simultaneous interpreters using the ZOOM platform.

The purpose of the webinar was to study the mechanism of transfer pricing, laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of transfer pricing, their compliance with OECD standards, and the study of law enforcement practices and experience of foreign countries.

The lecturers were representatives of the Internal Revenue Service of the United States – John Hugs, the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation – Igor Pokidko. From the Kazakh side spoke the Deputy Head of the Specialized Department of the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Kanat Dospanov.

During the webinar, there were discussed questions about the development of transfer pricing, as well as what role transfer-pricing plays at the domestic and international level.
