Electronic customs escort provides for the use of navigation seals to track the transportation of goods transported through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the customs procedure of customs transit. This was reported in the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

This measure will be applied based on the recommendations of the risk management system and goods imported to Kazakh importers located in the "green" zone.

Such importers include taxpayers included in the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 28, 2020 No. 1241 "On approval of the List of taxpayers subject to monitoring of large taxpayers" (http://adilet.zan.kz/rus/docs/V2000021995 ).

Electronic customs support simplifies customs operations during transit as much as possible, reduces border crossing time and significantly reduces financial costs for importers/exporters building business on the principles of "transparency" and compliance with legal requirements.

Implementation of this measure became possible on the basis of the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 28, 2021 No. 407 "On approval of the Rules for use of electronic customs escort of vehicles, as well as interaction of State Revenue Bodies, the declarant, the national operator of the information system for tracking international road transport and the carrier during electronic customs escort of vehicles" (http://adilet.zan.kz/rus/docs/V2100022649 ).

Thus, importers/exporters selected within the framework of the risk management system and who have chosen the electronic customs escort system have the right to apply to the relevant customs authority and to the operator for tracking navigation seals, which is defined by Silk Way monitoring LLP (www.swm.kz ).
