The pilot project is being implemented on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from March 20, 2023 to December 31, 2024 in relation to business entities when registering in the ESF IS and extracting the ESF.

The main goal of the Pilot Project is the use of biometric identification when issuing ESF to suppress the use and issuance of fictitious ESF by taxpayers registered under «dummy» persons.

Within the framework of the Pilot Project, it is planned to use biometric data (digital photography) to identify the participant of the Pilot Project, which is processed only with written consent of the subject of personal data, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Personal Data and Their Protection».

The participant in the Pilot Project is a person who has signed the Agreement on the use of the ESF IS and is registered in the ESF IS using biometric identification tools.

The ESF IS checks for compliance of data about the head of an economic entity or individual with the registration data posted in the regulatory and reference information of the authorized body and the data posted on the «digital profile» platform of the Ministry of Digital Development and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (did.gov. kz), regarding the authenticity of the user’s biometric data when registering in the ESF IS and extracting the ESF.

The order passed state registration with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 28, 2023 № 33832.
