The declaration of assets and liabilities when entering the universal declaration system is submitted once. This was reported by the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Exceptions are cases when the declaration of assets and liabilities is submitted by an individual as:

- a candidate for an elected or public office, or a position related to the performance of state or equivalent functions;

- a person who wants to become a major participant in a bank, an insurance (reinsurance) organization, an investment portfolio manager;

- spouses (a) of the above-mentioned persons.

"Also, the tax legislation provides for an additional declaration of assets and liabilities submitted by an individual when making changes and (or) additions to the previously submitted declaration of assets and liabilities of an individual,"- the SRC added.

On September 15, 2021, the deadline for submitting the declaration of assets and liabilities of the first stage of universal declaration ended.

The right to extend the declarations of individuals is granted to military servicemen without sending a notice of extension to the tax authority.

The deadline for submitting declarations of individuals by military personnel is extended for the period of time of military service from the date of issuance of the order on departure from the local military administration body to the place of military service.
