Metal billets weighing more than 23 tons were intended for the manufacture of medals.

At the automobile checkpoint " Сырым" in the West Kazakhstan region, export control officers stopped a cargo vehicle traveling with goods on the route Almaty, Kazakhstan - g.Tolyatti, Russia.

The driver (a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan) presented shipping documents, according to which the goods were moved in the cargo compartment of the vehicle: "blanks for metal medals" in the amount of 23.5 tons worth more than 1.4 million tenge, the press service of the state revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan reports.

As a result of checking the information specified in the shipping documents, it was found through the information systems of the state revenue authorities that the electronic invoice provided for monitoring is fictitious and does not exist in the electronic invoice information system is database.

Moreover, according to the system, the sender of the cargo is engaged only in cargo transportation by road and has no relation to the origin of the goods.

Currently, the state revenue authorities are taking measures to identify the actual senders of goods that have organized illegal business activities in order to conceal income and evade taxes
