The subjects of large business that are monitored are 342 taxpayers, of which 98 are subsoil users, 244 are large taxpayers from various sectors of the economy, which account for 43.7% of tax revenues to the state budget and more than 51% to the republican budget. This was announced at a press conference in the CCS by the director of the Department of Large taxpayers of the SRC, Anuar Suleimenov.

Thus, according to the results of 9 months of this year, revenues from large business entities to the state budget increased by 1,270 billion tenge or 36% and amounted to 3,302.3 billion tenge.

Revenues to the republican budget increased by 840.1 billion tenge or by 50% and amounted to 2,520.7 billion tenge.

The largest increase in revenue  in the sectors of economy is as follows:

  • wholesale and retail trade increased by 26% or 274.8 billion tenge;
  • manufacturing industry growth by 17.4% or 184.8 billion tenge;
  • financial and insurance activities, real estate transactions increased by 14.2% or 151 billion tenge;
  • transportation by pipeline increased by 38.7% or 33 billion tenge.

The increase in revenues occurred during the period of economic recovery after the pandemic and improvement in the quality of tax administration.

The improvement of the quality of administration was due to tax audits using the risk management information system.

The use of this system has made it possible to select large business entities for tax audits on the basis of risk assessment indicators, where inspections are assigned to taxpayers classified as high risk.

In general, 34 tax audits of large taxpayers have been completed in 9 months of 2021/

According to the results of the inspections, additional taxes and penalties were accrued – 46.5 billion tenge.
