As part of the improvement of customs administration, amendments were developed to Article 551 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses (hereinafter – referred to as the CoAO RK) “Non-declaring or inaccurate customs declaration of goods, cash, monetary instruments, inaccurate declaration of information in customs documents” and included in the draft Law “ On introducing amendments and additions to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses.

The amendments suggest changing the sanctions for violations committed in the customs area in terms of non-declaring or false customs declaration of goods, cash, monetary instruments, false statement of information in customs documents.

According to the Rules for conducting and using the analysis of the regulatory impact of regulatory instruments and (or) requirements, approved by the Order of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 30, 2015 No. 748 (hereinafter referred to as the Rules), this draft law requires an analysis of the regulatory impact of regulatory instruments and (or) requirements (RAR).

In this regard, guided by subparagraph 1) of paragraph 18 of these Rules, we inform you that on April 5, 2023 at 15.00, a public discussion of the results of the analysis will take place.
