On April 19, 2021, the Heads of the member States of the Eurasian Economic Union approved an Agreement on the use of Navigation Seals for Tracking Transportation in the Eurasian Economic Union.

The Agreement on the Use of Navigation Seals for Tracking Traffic in the Eurasian Economic Union regulates the use of navigation seals for tracking international traffic on the territory of two or more member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement).

The agreement provides for the use of navigation seals to track the transportation of goods by road and rail modes of transport, in connection with which it is necessary to make appropriate additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Transport in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the recognition of certain provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Road Transport", as well as amendments to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 5 July 2014 "On administrative offenses".

The deadline for public discussion of the draft resolution is until September 6, 2023.
