International webinar on “Experiences of Tax Administration Digitalization”

      On December 5 2023, the Regional Tax Center of Training Methodical Center of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MF RK) with the support from BRITACOM secretariat held a webinar on the topic: “Experiences of Tax Administration Digitalization”.

The purpose of the online meeting is to enhance the capacity of tax administration in BRI jurisdiction, unite all BRITACOM parties to discuss the progress and next steps of the task force in the field of digitalization of tax administration.

The opening remark was delivered by the Head of Training-Methodical Center of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Kazakpaeva Bakhytgul Dzhumabaevna.

The seminar consisted of four keynote speeches by the representatives of Hungary, Kazakhstan, Indonesia and China. Then the following countries as Hong Kong, China, Macau held a session to share experiences and new trends in the field of tax administration digitalization.

During the online meeting, the Head of the end-to-end monitoring Department of the Digitalization Department of the SRC MF RK, Mr Yerzhan Maratovich Mustafin delivered a speech on improving tax administration and ensuring transparency of trade turnover and made a presentation on the National Traceability System- Electronic Invoice Information System. The webinar allowed participants to exchange experiences and best practices in the field of digitalization of tax administration and gain deeper knowledge about the progress of tax administration digitalization of the BRITACOM parties.
