The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has developed a draft order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On approval of the Rules and deadline for the implementation of a pilot project on labeling and traceability of alcoholic beverages (except for wine in bulk (wine materials) and brewing products) using the information service «QazTrack» (hereinafter – the Project).

The purpose of the adoption of the Project is to confirm the authenticity and guarantee the quality (safety) of alcoholic beverages (with the exception of wine in bulk (wine materials) and brewing products), to counteract their illegal production and import, through its traceability from production to receipt by the end consumer.
The implementation of the Project will not require the allocation of funds from the republican budget.

The adoption of the Project will not entail negative socio-economic and/or legal consequences.
