The Chairman of the State Revenue Committee M. Sultangaziyev discussed the prospects

for the further development of bilateral cooperation of services with the Chairmen of the Customs and Tax Services of Kyrgyzstan

On January 19, 2019, in Korday Vlg. the bilateral meetings of the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. Sultangaziyev with the Chairmen of the State Customs Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Onolbekov A.M. and the State Tax Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Abzhaparov T.Zh.were held.

          The working meetings took place at the initiative of the Kazakhstan side to discuss the results of the implementation of the Roadmap on issues of bilateral economic cooperation, as well as interaction in the field of border, transport, phytosanitary and veterinary control, customs and tax administration, signed on December 2, 2017.

During the meeting with the customs colleague, the Roadmap measures assigned to the customs services were analyzed and discussed in detail.

In particular, the results of monitoring the implementation of customs control at the Kazakh-Chinese section of the EEU customs border at “Khorgos”, “Kalzhat”, “Alakol” vehicle checkpoints, at “Altynkol”, “Dostyk” railway checkpoints and customs clearance centers, located in Almaty and, respectively, at vehicle checkpoints, located in the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the EEU customs border, “Torugart”, “Irkeshtam” and places of customs clearance were discussed. The parties noted the absence of illegal movement of goods across the customs border of the Customs Union.

In addition, the parties heard reports on the work carried out to control the customs value of goods imported from the PRC, the functioning of the national accounting system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and discussed the analysis results of the dynamics of imports of goods imported into the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic from the PRC.

During the meeting, the heads of the tax authorities of the two countries discussed the results of the implementation of Roadmap paragraphs in the field of tax administration.

Under paragraph 4 of the Roadmap, the Parties heard a report on the functioning of the national accounting system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In pursuance of paragraphs 10-11 of the Roadmap, the services discussed a draft Plan on bilateral economic cooperation and tax administration, aimed at exchanging information on exported goods, as well as exchanging information on pricing policies and the cost of goods.

The parties addressed issues related to the administration of imports/exports of goods in mutual trade between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the end of the meetings, the Chairmen of the Services discussed the prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation and signed the Minutes of the working meetings.
